Pools and beach
The complex has three pools. Over the road are three private beaches, £3 to £7 a day at the gate.
Out and about
The marina is five minutes away and worth an evening at sunset; the Giftun Island boats leave from there. El Dahar bazaar is eight minutes.

The studio
One open room with a king bed, an armchair corner, a fitted kitchen and a separate bathroom with a walk-in shower. It is on the ground floor, so no stairs and no waiting for a lift, and the terrace, under a wooden pergola with bougainvillea, opens straight onto the gardens with the pool a few steps away.

How do I book?
Through Airbnb. Every Book button on this page opens the listing, where you can see free dates and the total price before you pay.
How far is the beach, and what does it cost?
Three private beaches are across the road: Downtown, Scandic and Zahabia. You pay at the gate in cash, 200 to 400 Egyptian pounds (about £3 to £7) for the day, and only on the days you go. Beach towels, a beach bag and sun cream are in the studio.
Are the pools heated?
No. From December to February they are for the brave.
How do we get from the airport?
It's 10 km, about 20 minutes. On stays of 7 nights or more we pick you up for free, one way. Otherwise Uber and InDrive both work here, at about 30p per km.
When can we check in?
Any time, day or night. Staff hand over the key, or you use the code box at the door. Tell us your arrival time before you travel. Early check-in and late check-out are free when the calendar allows, so ask before you book.
Who helps us during the stay?
Message us on Airbnb and you'll hear back within the hour, day or night. Zakaria manages the apartments in Hurghada and can be with you within 30 minutes if something urgent comes up.
Do we need a marriage certificate?
Not if you hold foreign passports. Egyptian law asks Egyptian couples to show one to share private accommodation.
